Dnp w/ ext wastegate ?

Hey guys I just got a dnp header stock flanged with the external wastegate setup. However I'm still running a 14b(I got the header from a friend for free). I'm going to block off the ext wastegate pipe with a plate. My question do you think this is going to screw things up and become more trouble than its worth or what???

Its not a problem at all placing a blocking plate over the WG tube/flange on the manifold. It will just be easier down the road to hook up a external WG if you get one. That type of blockoff flange can be seen here. Or, you could trade me some parts for the manifold and save you the trouble.

appreciate the quick feedback. your right about later down the road. besides who wants to ship the stuff back to dnp to get a cheaper priced header? f that. and...no thanks on the parts ill get the neighbor shop to ours to make the plate right quick for me.

I have an older prototype SFP manifold and it has had a plate blocking off the wastegate for quite some time now. No problems yet
