I installed the balance shaft removal kit in my car. The kit I used had the rubber coated freeze plug. Does it matter what direction you install it? I installed it with the recessed portion facing inward. So it comes flush with the casting on the front cover. I have seen some pics of other installs and the recessed portion is the other direction. Am I going to have problems? I can post pics later tonight since it is hard to describe. Should I pull the front cover back off and flip it around?
