Differences in water pipe by years

I'm in the process of trying to complete my 6 bolt swap into my 2g. The 6 bolt engine I bought didn't come w/ the front water pipe. I believe it's out of a 91 but I'm not sure. How can I figure out exactly which water pipe I need as it appears 90 had a different design?

To my knowledge the only difference in 1g 4g63 water pipes are from turbo to non turbo. Turbo ones have a bung on them for the turbo water lines whereas the non turbo ones don't. Maybe you are comparing them to a 1.8L motor water pipe? Those might be different.

According to CAPS and a few other sources, there are 2 different production versions of the water pipe for the turbo model D27A.

89-90 do not have provisions for the water oil cooler because it uses air to air. the 91-94 pipe has provisions for the water lines on the oil cooler
