Are all 2g front driver fenders the same?

My 96 GST Spyder was nearly immaculate with original paint. Some ahole darted across my lane and I ended up with a dented fender.

I know 2ga headlights are different, just not sure about fenders.
My insurance is covering the bill but the shop can't locate OEM parts and their trusted sources are out.
They will work with me if I can find the part myself. The local Pull a Part has a couple 98' and a couple 99', GS and maybe 1 GST amongst that group.

I want to know if I am wasting my time pulling a 98 fender to fit my 96.

Amazon has a vender that will send me a painted one, verified by VIN. But they mention "W/O" air scoop.
WTF is that ? the intercooler air scoop is on the passenger side and nothing to do with the fender.

Any information will help. I want my Eclipse to look pretty again.

Yes 95-99 fenders are all the same. The air scoop thing I believe is under the fender, it is a little air dam and it doesn't matter if it's with or without it. If the car is rusty, careful pulling the two bolts on the bottom of the fender as those 90% of the time will break but can be drilled out.

I am a victim of rust...thanks for the heads up. The junk yard cars are rust free, good ol Arizona

Well taking off the fender was easy.
I will be getting the car back this Friday, I will slap the "new" fender on and return back the shop.

By the way..whats that sealant Mistubishi used between panels and body? The stuff has to come off for paint.
I am just curious, in case I have to reseal.
