did my motor just walk??

One morning I turn on my car everything sounds good then I take off and noticed I don't hear my turbo spool up and my boost gauge says like 2 pounds. Before this I have not had any problems with the car. Its a 99 automatic with a evo 3 16g. I took off the manifold and there was 5 cracks would this be it? I'm putting my old t25 with a new evo 3 manifold on to see if it fixes the problem. Do you guys have any ideals what it could be? I'm guessing a huge boost leak.

doesn't really sound like any symptom of crankwalk. How does the car do at idle?

It's probably boost leak and exhaust leaks.

I guess I see why crank walk is such an over used term now. Just because you have a problem doesn't mean its crank walk. You have a cracked exhaust manifold and you wonder why your not boosting. Its like trying to drink threw a straw with a hole in the side.

If you really want to check for crank walk, check for any end play in your crank. But crank walk would be the last thing to think of with those symptoms.

It idles around 750 to 500 is sounds fine. And the turbo has no play at all

Cracks in the exhaust manifold would definately cause a loss of boost. You can keep the 16g on there just swap the bad manifold with the new one.

I know it can be anything I just don't wanna replace everything than find out it did walk.

try to pull on the harmonic pulley to see if you have ANY play in the crank.

This is everything my replacing. Stock icp with hard piping, 1g bov, manifold, turbo. Anything else I should check and change
