I'm installing a EVOIII in my GST following diag from the hanes manual. The water lines don't line up right...the bottom return lines (siliver color) rubber hose gets smashed by the motor mount and wastegate while the top water line or the water feed...points upward while the water feed from the block it 4-5 inches below it...

This is the only way I found to hook these lines up...did I do something wrong?

Yes those water lines are right. You should have no problem with them. :thumb: :dsm:

Those colant hose supply are gonna kink if I try to attach it...It would be like a 90 degree bend up and then back down onto the turbo's water supply line....

If you look at the T25 stock line it's L shaped. Up and to the left. This one goes up, to the left, then back up....

the the green line...it with the rubber line attach...to make that rubber hose fit it would kink the hose bad...

Also the orange lines are in a tough spot but I can make that fit...it's mainly the water feed line...if it went straight across it wouldn't be bad but it bends up...I wonder if I straighten it out it might work...but it might be to long still...

I thought this RRE kit was plug and play and I wouldn't have to hardcore bend anything otherwise I'd use my stock water lines....???

K whatever, I tried to contact RRE but no one seems to be in today, I'm just gonna bend the hell out of the lines...this kit is for the birds...doesn't even come with directions...The J pipe looked ok on the outsides but the flange was welded on sloppy and looks like parts of the welding further down the pipe could break off and flow into the hed...fun...tried to smooth it out a bit but don't wanna go to far and I can't reach in there...Would have been nice if it came with new banjo bolts too...have to reuse the ones off the t25...

I had to bend mine, tourch and some gloves. Heat the spot you want to bend till its red hot then bend and test fit and repeat.
Wouldn't a vice be better?

just bend the stock lines .... simple and fast. You can use a vice but it won't be a smooth bend ... it'll kink it. Still works though. I just stuck a screwdriver in the end of the line and used that to help bend it.

that vfaq is EXACTLY what I used when I put my b16g in a few days ago. All's I did was swapped the banjo bolts and waterlines off my t25 and had to bend them a tad, its not that hard at all, just keep testing and re-fitting.

I had the rre hacker/tweaker kit, not the full one though, btw.

take the mani off, and hold the turbo in the car and test fit, bend to satisfaction

exactly what I did

you know what, after looking at your pics one more time, it appears to me that you should reverse the lines, ie keep them pointed and positioned the same way, just swap them on the turbo. Your return/bottom line would then perfectly line up with where it needs to go and the feed/top line would clear the intake housing on the turbo and you should have plenty of hose to hook it up. Just a thought...
