Sad thing is there outta high school there like 19 or 20 and yes there RETARTED!

But on a better note I got stated on the talon today it should be done by sunday depending on if they can instal the back window that day or not lets hope they can since ita already been 3 months without it and its been hell!

Backinajiffy, just get a radar detector that does both radar and laser and call it good. Jammers are retarded, you'll get pulled over anyway because they're very illegal, and it's kind of obvious that you're using one when their radar comes back with 999.

thts y i have one but ive heard cops have a special speed laser that jams detectors and shows where they are (kinda like the valentine detectors). i know the one i have and some that are out there can detect those and it will warn you then shut down.

I go really why is that he goes its just like another cat! I asked him so it wouldnt cause the header to snap from to much stress from the exhaust shaking since you werent smart enough to put hindges on that eather? He goes no it broke ### its a ebay header (which he bought) But I took him to Wrenches with me. Talked to chad gates (chad looks at the kid and tells him to get the hell outta his shop ### he is a dumb ass! Lol thats a pic of the header!

i will be there for sure and I am trying to get GSTSpyder and Heshan there too.
I preregistered already; anyone else wanting to save $5 should do the same. Link is here.

Have you ever autocrossed at the fairgrounds before? If so, whats the location like? I am rocking nice big new RSX brakes on the rear of my civic and cannot wait to see what they do on my crappy summer tires!

how much is it to enter?

I think its $15 for a weekend membership and $20 to enter (if you pre-register, $25 if you register at the event). So, the 22nd they would charge you $35 to enter. I could be wrong on those prices, though. Spectating is free. Also, if you stay til fun runs you may be able to climb in the passenger seat of one of the members' cars for free too!

the"Laser", if you don't want to spend that at least show up and check it out. If we do fun runs you can see the course at speed from a passenger seat!

One thing to remember is if you get a weekend membership, you can deduct $15 from your year membership. For 25 year olds and younger, that is a $45 fee to begin with and a max of 3 weekend membership deductions. (READ: FREE) So if you autocross 3 weekends, you have your year membership paid for!

correct. the unfortunate thing is each of those 3 events have to be like $35 or $40 to get in. after that events are only like $20 when you are a full member.

If you are over 25, you are inelligible for the first gear membership ($45) and it costs $65 for a year membership.

I am sure this is all confusing, but I am trying to explain it better

Weekend memberships are handled at the event and are on paper. You have to go to scca's website to purchase a year membership. it does not happen automatically. when you do purchase the membership, the site will give you an option to enter weekend membership numbers for credit towards your membership fee. also a referral is another credit, if you want to give them my name or scca member number (gets me $5 off too!).

The national website for membership information is SCCA Sports Car Club of America. The local website for the Des Moines Valley Region is Des Moines Valley Region SCCA

They set it up this way so you can try autocrossing with no obligation for up to 3 times without losing any money. If you like it, you can buy a full membership which gets you insurance while on the course (not sure how far this goes), discounts on parts, car rentals, hotel rooms, and safety equipment, access to classes and schools, and their monthly magazine. You can get all this and using credit for the money you already spent on weekend memberships.

If this is your second event, you lose.

Third event, you lose on the last run.

I haven't been to any more events with Matt beyond 3, so I don't know how it'll turn out after that.

pretty sure garrett will do awesome. he has been racing hornets on the circle track for years, and go-karts before that i think. he is gonna be racing a gen2 integra with nice suspension and lots of weight cut.

I have had some experiance on many different tracks. Won 2 track titles last year in my Mini-stock. Ran Medium/Junior 1 and 2 when I was younger. Raced a cage-cart for one year on asphalt. Many titles won, lots of experiance gained.

Not saying I am going to go out and kill everyone, Because I wont. Just stating I do have some experiance, and doing for the fun.
