wow, what a fun meet. the get together at wal mart was quite interesting, what with having someone from AP coming out to talk to us but then we cleared it up and she was cool. drive down was fun, and screw all of you with AWD took some pics of everyone driving. BWW was a better place to do this than okoboji, food was orgasmicly good and everyone was very nice and had a great attitude. this was my first meet and me and my GF enjoyed it very much. hanging out at adams afterwards was a real good time too, lots of laughing and jokes and general BSing, was a great night and hope to do it again SOON

But now that he dont have it anymore he isnt interested in the meets nor will I tell him about the meets for that reason! Damn this sucks I just saw this thread today, im from fort dodge and i was in ames saturday night with my buddy, i have a 95 gsx stroked almost fully built, still parked from the winter tho, my buddy had his 98 gst down there but snapped a shifter cable and had 1st 3rd and 5th on the way home today haha, someone pm next time you guys are all meeting up again and we'll come down, there arent many dsm's around here

I agree. I'm really glad at the turn out of this meet. Thanks everyone for being grown up and chill cause the last thing I want is for our meets to be banned you know. Also bww food is amazing. Too bad we don't have one in Ames. Maybe next time west cyde wings or wallabys will be good so we don't cruise too far out of town. Anyway. Yes another meet will be in the works so keep your eyes peeled for dates and times.

If it's any defense, he expressed nothing but regret about doing that from the second he was back in his lane.

Hopefully next time I'll have my motor in decent shape so I can actually have fun. Constantly fighting an oil-covered clutch definitely is not my idea of a good time.

However, I'm glad that this meet went as well as it did. Should make for some better ones in the future, especially without the high school ricers.

just my idea, i have hardly done any searching: start with an evo tranny and rear differential (the tranny and the diff pretty much have to match final drive ratios) and work out from there. I believe if anything *could* work, it would be that tranny. A dsm tranny could not work because the engine sits the wrong way. an evo tranny might not even work considering most sohc 4g64 blocks have a wider bell housing bolt pattern than the 4g63s. find rear hubs that can support a cv shaft, maybe dsm hubs. you would need custom axles to go from the evo diff to dsm hubs, and welding in mounts to hold up the rear differential. it also might mean moving the gas tank depending on where its mounted in a strat. you can plan on a custom driveshaft as well.

Backinajiffy, just get a radar detector that does both radar and laser and call it good. Jammers are retarded, you'll get pulled over anyway because they're very illegal, and it's kind of obvious that you're using one when their radar comes back with 999.
