Hey guys its about time we put together a meet in the DFW area. so lets come together and get this meet taken care of.

Anyone have an idea where and when we can meet?

Nah j/k, I'm down for some meets anywhere, I should be heading to DFW this weekend so I'll be in town ready to meet up.
 
whenever dude. Sat. nights are best for me. I'm in Plano. Close to CCCCD spring creek. but, wherever. Tell me you're not that dude with the white GST that I left a note on your car...
 
pnishr what color is your car? i may have seen you in plano. i'm about to move to Spring creek and Alma.
 
It's white with black slipstreams. I don't drive it very often (less than 1,500miles in a year... :thumb: ) It's been off the road for 2 months while I did a bunch of crap. I'm taking it out this weekend though after I bleed my breaks tomorrow (maybe tonight). I've missed it. Probably gonna head up to Sherlock's in Addison Sat. Night. -lots of... scenery up there, but not much of a place to check out cars, not much of a parking lot. Let me know what yall want to do. I've been looking for some fellow DSMers.
 
My schedule is PACKED during the week, but next weekend is good. Hey, what's up with your car between 4000-4700ish RPM. I looked at your dyno, and that's kinda messy. (not criticizing by the way, since it is more than me) Just saying, have you logged that, and gone back to look at your A/F, knock, timing??? That just seems like a kind of abrupt drop of 10hp and 10lbs tq for no reason.

Alright man, just keep us up to date when you're in town (hope you have computer access). That's a long drive. I used to do it in the '97 from Palm Springs. The good thing is there is nothing but straight open roads through arizona. (unless you're taking the I-40 through the north) stay awake. Oh, yeah, my car still has Cali tags on it... a year later... oops.

that dyno is from a while ago when my car was pretty much stock, all I had was a 14b, and exhaust.
 
I see... that's good. I was afraid of that being on the 16G.

Well, is anybody gonna show up tonight? Sherlocks in addison unless there's somewhere better somebody wants to go. Let me know by 8:30ish. If anybody's up for it, let me know, and I'll PM you my cell # so we can figure shit out.

They already got me doing 83 in a 70:cry: It's alot easier to get out of tickets in texas then it is in cali.:thumb:

Yeah, they clocked me at 110 in a 70. oops... And let me off! Awesome. But that was back when I sped... well, excesively anyway. I actually had a cool cop in cali give me a ticket for 84 in a 60, when I was doing 87-90ish. That was on the 15 into SD. If only he'd seen me 10 miles earlier, I had been averaging about 115 for an hour before, but that was on the 10 towards San Bernadino, so everybody was doing 100 anyway. :D

So, I don't even know where the Beach st. meet is. I don't even know where beach st is! though, I think it's more Ft Worthy area...(NW) I know all the guys from the old DFWDSM.org site used to meet there, but I don't even know who they are, since that site has been gone for a while. I guess I'll give you a call to find out where/when and all that. There's also a "car-show" at NW hwy and skillman at Keller's Burgers that I just found out about. It's pretty much all "classics" and hot-rods. But it's a cool joint, with some BEAUTIFUL old Camaro's, stingrays, cougars, etc. It's basically a roll up, and park if you feel like showing off your ride. CHEAP BEER. :thumb:
 
Do you guys want to come to a car meet on thursday Dallas Impots and DFWMazda (Good Friends of mine) forms meet at Skoots at spring valley and us 75. i get there about 9:00p.m.
Just let me know if your going to come so i make sure i go that week.

My roommate told me about the car meet at Keller's Burgers. it all classic cars like you said. and some guys at dicks to imports.
 
So is every one meeting up at skoots this thursday or what? I am in the process of selling my DSM but would like to hang out before I do.
 
ya i think Killakev, pnishr, and myself are planning on being there this Thursday 7/27.

I'll be the one in the DSM. ha ha ha. I know Kev's is white. Jason, is yours black? Mine (clearly) is white (with pretty chrome accents on the top of the door jam that need to be re-painted)

Oh, and I know this place has the coke's etc., but I'm on a soda-free diet. Is it a restaurant? do they have mature adult beverages to be consumed in a reasonable and responsible way?

my apologies, I just got internet established in my apartment today, I didn't make it back to a internet connection in time to see if you guys were interested in going.

Is there any meets early this week, like Monday or Tuesday or possibly Wed? I am leaving for Missouri next Wed, or thursday, for the weekend. :dsm: :talon: :laser:
