I hope that you are joking about paying $100 USD for them. One because they are about $2.50 each in the US, and 2 because Denso Spark Plugs suck. Get some NGK B7ES plugs and you will be good.

Yeah I just yoinked a set of Bosch Platinums out of my car (previous owner, I've only had the car for a very short time) and threw in a set of NGK BPR6ES's. Cheap at the local NAPA.

im pretty sure advanceauto has em too. i know they do around here. youll have to ask specifically for the ngk's though, and make sure they're 6es or 7es, they've messed up before giving me wrong plugs alltogether.

BPR6ES are best for close/slightly modded applications, but have you guys noticed that he's not exactly in the United States? :tease: MarsaGSX, I would go ahead and order a case (comes in 12) of NGK spark plugs so you don't have to pay the shipping a million times over.

Thinking the same thing...

Easy for us to say "Check your local NAPA" but for him that may entail a 3,000 mile trip across the ocean:p

Pick up some NGK BPR6es if you find them around....They are less than ~$15 here for a set, so I can't imagine it coming anywhere near $100 US over there...

BTW: Denso Iridium's are like $60-80 here also I believe...Insane

I bought Denso Iridiums thinking they would be good... yeah.. no. the Tips were gone on mine after 2K.

to ian7321 No Man not JOKE..really..paid 100usd for 4Denso Ir plugs... read they are very well.. BTW DENSO is No. ONE Japaneese manufacturer...why don´t FAITH...:coy:

tell me why Platinum or Iridium is not well for Turbo engine..??? for stock is platinum ..or not?
BTW I think my DENSO died because I ran VERY RICH..as pig..Walbro 255/stock FPR... When I hited gas pedal(doesn´t matter which gear..) hit TONS of knocks ..nothing so unique..:|

my driver skill...not so bad..think need practice..
what you guys think?possible..

If you have all those performance goodies, and you still get tons of knock, maybe you should try that datalogger out and tune your car. I don't see anything about a wideband O2 sensor setup on your car...invest in one of those and tune your car. Then run NGKs, Iridium and Platinum are more selling gimmicks that anything else. Platinum plugs generally last 1 billion trillion miles, but I prefer plain ol spark plugs, in an NGK box of course.

...this is my NEW WINTER SETUP....knocks were befor...mean when I ran Walbro on stock FPR but WB is what I would like to get...

This might be a dumb question but did you have your chip burned to handle the big injectors? Trying to compensate with translator alone would be almost impossible and would result in high timing.

edit:
If you are still having problems, post one of your logs on here. There are many people that would be happy to help get it sorted out.

 dumb:cool: :thumb:
Jeff burned chip especially for me.. timing for 30 PSI@100Octane
will tune with my FPR and Translator...
NEED TO SAY..Iam still in processssss:rolleyes: now Iam waiting for Cometic and ARPs...LOOONG way from SBR to me:cry:

NGK's rock, I used them in all of my DSM's and all my cars for that matter.

remeber to gap .028

BPR7ES is fine. 30psi on 100 octane...I've never seen that happen before. The 4G63T can handle 32psi w/ studs and MLHG. I wouldn't try 30psi w/ your set-up though, maybe w/ 110 octane at least. I run 28psi on a 35R w/ 110 octane and I'm using NGK BPR8ES plugs.

+1 for the BPR7ES plugs gapped to .028. BTW, your car is very unique. Never seen anything like it. The wing, body, exhaust, rims, everything. :thumb:

You think I am not able run safely 30PSI on 100+ Octane with my goodies?...Jeff O chip..for [email protected] think he wrote me timing around 15deg or so...??
to BPR8ES..this plugs are for higher boost aplication.??? i will run 30PSI MAX!!??

looks like BPR7ES will be good for me..BTW...My dealer can check BPR7ES and BPR7ES-11..what is the differenece between????
next..gap..,028is every 7es??or need to check some special7es???

Thank you..Iam happy you like:thumb: BTW all that pics in my profile are old..Just Avatar is new..In old pics is old front bumper..looks really horrible..there is BIG hole between headlights...Actually that bumper is for some Subaru..last owner was really COOL tuner:barf: there was tons of shity in my car..i had to "cure" my car, then start to tune a bit..now is time for bigger power..400AWHP/ less 12sec@1/4mile
??possible???

That time and power is very possible. I pulled it off w/ a 16G. If you do it correctly, IMO, you should be hittin mid to high 11s w/ your mods. Yes, BPR8ES is a colder plug. Our EVO runs BPR9ES. It's boost is set @40psi though. Good luck.:thumb:
