I am about to wire in my 4 gauges for my defi racers. The instructions say:

red - B+ 12v battery (to 12v battery)
orange - Ignition wire (to 12v wire when ignition on)
white - illumination (12v wire when small lamp on)
black - ground

so what i was going to do was buy two of the add a circuits and put them in the two free slots in my fuse box under the driver side dash, Use the two unused IG2 slots for power. I will run two of the racer gauges in parrallel to each add a circuit. So red wires to the add a circuits and black to ground. Then i was going to splice into my dimmer switch wire for all the gauges white wires (illumination). So what about the orange wire? I have read and searched already and am still not finding this out.

Well if the manual says the orange wire is for ignition then just find a spot on the fuse box that is keyed which means everytime your car comes on the gauges will come on. What I did was just took my wire and plug it in to spots in the fuse box until I found something that is keyed and thats it. Or you can splice it into your power wire for your radio or your actual ignition wire but the fuse box is the easiest good luck I hope this helped
