Hi,

Just needing to know if anyone else here has any defi racer gauges that they installed themselves. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out where to install these gauges to for power. The instructions that come with the gauges say not to put anymore than one gauge to on power supply fuse etc. I have a boost, egt, oil pressure, water temp gauge, and i still have to install my aem uego wideband after that. So what can i do? I was originally just going to use one of the add a circuit fuse kits into my fuse box in the drivers side cabin under the dash. But if i have to make different power supply lines for each gauge than i wont have enough free space in that box. Anyone know the correct way to do this? I don't care about time it takes. I like to do things the right way and clean installs.

Thanks

The gauges do not pull much amperage. You are fine hooking into the power for the cigarette lighter. I have three gauges hooked into mine and I still charge a phone and have my radar detector going off of it.

The cigarette lighter i was going to use for my wideband power supply. What about my 4 other gauges? I have read not to hook up the wide band to the same power supply with the rest of the gauges. I have searched for this to find alot of mixed posts on what is proper and what isn't. Are there any options that i can do this right with a pigtail fuse? would a 12a pigtail fuse work be enough to run 4 gauges?

U can hook them all up to the cigarette lighter for the switched power supply. I tapped into the constant on my radio for the constant on the wideband.

I have my wideband, boost, and oil pressure gauge hooked onto the cigarette lighter. Worst case scenario is that you would have to put a little bit bigger fuse in for the cigarette lighter circuit. but your wideband needs a constant 12v source. I just hooked into the radio memory wire.
