ok, my local auto parts stores doesn't carry the sea foam motor treatment to put in my oil, but they carry deep creep. i was wondering if i can just put that in the oil instead. i wasnt sure and am hoping someone knows, i cant stand the ungodly lifter ticking in my metro.

No, you can't. Deep Creep is a penetrating oil, just like PB blaster, WD 40, etc. Although Deep Creep is made my SeaFoam, they are 2 completely different products. :thumb:

Deep creep is the same as seafoam but is for marine applications. I can't believe they don't carry seafoam though. But yes it will work all the same. It is basically seafoam in an aerosol can. Cleans carbon, renews engine, all that good stuff.

it may be a penetrating product, but it also can be used to be sprayed into the intake, trottle body, vacuum lines, into the engine directlt to clean carbon. its just pure petroleum.

hmm, it doesnt say the same stuff as the eingine cleaner, but since it says sea foam in an aerosol can, i guess it must work

Ive sprayed it directly into my combustion chambers with no ill effects. Actually my compression numbers went up a couple psi after I did it.

so i waited for 4 days for the motor treatment to get in stock instead of putting deep creep in the crankcase...

before i even turned on my metro and drove out of the parking lot i put it in the oil, and almost immediatly after turning on the car the ticking was gone. and as i pulled out of the parking lot, i noticed that it accelerates a LOT better and smoother.

:thumb: to sea foam
