Am always looking at little ways to make my Evo look better. The removal of the GT wing seems to be working well for me although it is filling my kitchen somewhat. Attention has moved now to the front grille of my car. This evening I tries just removing the top grille to see how it looks. While I personally will need a few days to decide if it's going to stay that way, I was wondering what you folks thought. Here is one before and two after shots from about the same angle so you can compare.

take off the bottom mesh
the car will look way more aggresive :dsm:

The bottom mesh is there for practical reasons though; it protects the intercooler from any stones bouncing up off the road.

Am thinking of getting all the mesh painted black this weekend and seeing how it looks.

Well I've got the old paintbrush (well, spray paint, pot & sponge) out this afternoon and got to work on the grilles. Ever since primary school I was always completely inept at painting or any sort of artwork and old habits die hard. Hence I managed to get a tiny bit of black in the middle of the intercooler at the bottom. The mark on the photos is a combination of a tiny bit of paint and some wetness from the Simple Green that I tried to use to get it out. Didn't work so I might have to get some paint thinner or nail varnish remover to see how if I can get it out.

Doesn't look too bad though. Will see in the grim light of day if it needs another coat or not.

Find some of that Bentley cloth they use in the grille of pimped Chrysler 300s. That'll do the trick.

If the trick is to get poison out of your belly.

And for those of us that speak English, that means???
