Dave Brode Upper I/C pipe

Really considering getting this pipe but wanted to know from people that have these or have installed them if they are a direct bolt on with no problems getting it on whatsoever? I know he custom makes them, but i'm willing to save another 2 more weeks for greddy upper and lower pipes if his pipe doesn't fit well or needs alterations. This is for a 95 gst.

From what I understand, that Brode products are all great. I've never purchased/used one, but I've talked with him via email, and he's very responsive/knows his stuff (obviously). When I upgrade my UIC piping (and possibly other piping), he will get my money.

The thing that attracts me to the brode is that NOBODY badmouths it. Also, it's about 1/2 the price of everything else. Rawk.

I have seen this pipe many times. A great piece of work. He would not have his parts sold by many DSM vendors if it was crap. They could make more money off of other companies, but they us Dave instead.

Yeah that's my general understanding too. It's so cheap it's nice! Wish he had a web site to see other products he may have made too.

Dave's products are great. I currently have his intake pipe installed and I used to have his UICP. The only reason I switched to the Greddy one is because my friend traded me straight up and his was already modded for a Supra SMIC which is what I planned in getting and then I bought my FMIC instead.


Cliffnotes= Dave's stuff is the shiznite.

Anyone know which sites carry dave's UICPs? Also, do you think they have one flanged for HKS BOV which I'm having now? Thanks.

Before I sold my DSM, I had a Brode UIP on it. Dave was pretty quick to respond, helpful about the install, and makes a quality product. It comes bare metal, no glitz, you can apply your own glitz (I painted it black with BBQ paint).

I'd certainly recommend it.

All I can post is my own experience, but...
Dave was extremely helpful and responsive over email. I got the part super quick. Everything I needed for install was included, EVEN a gasket for the 1g BOV that I was installing at the same time (thought that was a nice touch). It was kind of a tight fit getting the pipe into the rubber elbow and then that onto the intercooler, but a little force got it on there. As soon as I drove it I noticed a HUGE difference (I'm sure that was a combo of the pipe and the BOV).
