Hello, i have a 90gst with a big 16g turbo, FMIC 33x7x2.75, 3"gm maf and MAFT with blow thru, also a manual boost controler...i'm gonna get 550cc's and a 255 fuel pump... I want to run low to mid 12's...I bought an a/f gauge just to find out its just a light show from what everyone says. I went thru forums and it says dataloggers let you input the injectors you have, fmic, fuel pump fuel pressure and other stuff. would i be able to change setting on the car by using a datalogger? I mean would i be able to let the car know i got a bigger injector and fmic and other stuff like that so it could make changes or how would I go about doing it??? I'm pretty good with cars and things like that but I've never used any software and plug and play things. I see some datalogger with hotsync cable, computer adapter cable and software on ebay for $50, is it worth it and is itthe same sofware other people use? let me know.

A datalogger will only let you monitor what your ECU sees, knock, fuel trim, inj duty cycle, etc. You 'tell' your car what injectors you are running by changing the settings on your MAFT.

Is it worth buying? Very much so, otherwise you wouldn't really have much to tune your car off of. Its cheap insurance to know your not going to blow your motor.

To Answer Your Question The best way. With my datalogger I was using, palnstein it did not allow me to change values from the logger, just "log"

But to get to the main point, to control injectors you'll need to think about getting a afc1 or 2. thats the cheapest way I know after that find someone who has a wideband o2 unit to adjust fuel

He's already got a means of fuel control, he is using MAFT.
