Dash problems in 91 mitsubishi talon tsi

Need help!! Left side of dash stopped working a few weeks ago. Since, it came back to life a couple times when I turned car on back I'm no longer having any luck. Rpm gauge doesn't work, boost gauge doesn't work, temperature gauge and oil gauge doesn't work as well. Now fuel gauge is frozen along with empty light not working. I'm thinking it might be a loose ground...... any ideas?!

ive this problem before take the cluster out make sure the connector is clean use a pick to tighten up the connectors in plug they will open up some times there is two ground wire behind the cluster im pretty sure they are for the gauges make sure they are clean and tight also look at your printed circuit on back side of cluster an make sure theres no burns or broken spots

the cluster is underneath the dash on the left side right?
i'm an amateur with these cars and the mechanics, want to make sure i don't start looking into the wrong area.

yes cluster is the whole gauge set up take the black cover off where the dimmer switch fog light switch and flip up light switch then pull out the whole gauge set up an check it out
