hello i am haveing trouble removing the cylinder head from the block to relpace the gasket the head is lifted from the block all the way around but i cant pull it off or up enough to replace the gasket it would be very much appreciated if you all could help me :)
 
Yes iv checked an nothing i followed directions from alldata and autozone, and they dont say ne thing about the intake headers needing to be removed but yet it seems that theres somethign there that is keeping it from lifting off.

there's probably a brace on the bottom of the intake manifold that connects to the block
