OK so I plan on getting new shocks struts and lowering springs in a few months. I was wondering what the negative effects on cutting my stock springs down like 2 coils for temporary would be. I have access to a spring compressor so the only thing it would cost would be time. Has anyone done this to their stock springs?

I just put the Tein S-techs on my car and it lowered it significantly lower than what I was expecting. I also have the GR-2s but even with the mild drop, the fronts are definitely blown now. I'm going to step up the fronts to AGXs, but the funds don't allow for that now. I have them on my FWD and they are nice. I would definitely recommend this set up.

One thing to keep in mind, Eibach discontinued the Proline springs for the 1g AWD for some reason. You MAY be able to find a set somewhere but it could be difficult.

Just for clarity. H&R stuff can still be had in the same price range, and without that odd "lifted" look where the front sits higher than the back that Eibach likes to pull off. :p

Do not do that. It's the worst thing you can do better buy a new one. In the spring you in the U.S. are very cheap and have a nice variety of what is not in Poland. May we choose Eibach, Vogtland and Chinese crap ..

Ending months of spring make me the car will go wrong and, therefore, become unsafe.
