Yesterday my friend who works at the exhaust place took some 3inch piping and bent me the tube with a mounting point. We took the rubber pipe holder thingies off a Turbo Diesel the managed to fit. on my way home i stopted at pep-boys and they actually had a K&N filter for my car just sitting there. So now im running a custom cold air intake with a K&N filter all for about 90 bucks...... not to shabby...... :dsm:

what i like most about modding cars is the fact that people fabricate there own stuff, not just go blow $400 for some little intake when they can make a perfectly good one that will perform just the same. Its kinda like jesse james stye ya know? don't buy it, build it. :thumb:

K&N Filter is roughly $40... an 18" length of 3" piping is like $10 at Home Depot... you can get silicone couplers for $10 a pop... Why did you spend close to $100 on a ghetto rigged CAI for an N/T?
