Ok, ive been looking at the keydiver chips lately. I was wondering if Jeff or someone else could make me a chip for my exact set up, turbo, fuel, and the amount of boost that I want to run? If not, Could I just run the stage 3 chip that would compensate for 650's and just tune with lowering/increasing boost while monitoring knock with a logger? Has anyone ran one of these keydiver chips without an safc or wideband? Could I just run this chip without an safc and just use a logger to monitor the limits of my boost.

I have run a few of Jeff's chips. Yes they get you close but you should still have a safc at minumum. With just the chip you can tune fairly close with just an afpr but you will still have to maintain a happy medium between your hi and low fuel trims, you probably won't get them both perfect without the safc to make minor changes at different rpm and throttle settings.

So i just couldnt up the boost with this chip until I see knock with the logger?

Keydiver chips are amazing for the price you pay.

Im running a stg3 right now (no SAFC) with FIC 650s and the car is smoother than stock.

An SAFC isnt absolutely necessary, even andymoraitis runs a chip without any SAFC.

And you can keep turning up the boost until you see knock, you can even get your stock boost gauge converted to a knock gauge.

jongreene, just curious what your low, mid, and high fuel trim look like with just running a chip with no other means of tuneing. On the 4 chips i ran just plug and go with the chip, no tuneing with safc all my trims were off by 15% from 85% to 115%.

I wish i could tell you, lasttime we logged my car was about 2 weeks ago, on someone elses logger which was unable to upload on the computer.

Going by the knock sum gauge everything is really smooth, I have no knock idling,crusing, pre-boost, only at WOT did i have knock due to my bad knock sensor.

just curious what your exact set up is ex.(fuel pump, turbo, boost, etc???

Right now my setup is everything in my profile.

still on 14b , stg 3 chip, 650s, 2g MAF, 255 pump, AFPR.

Im only on the 14b until i find a great shape turbo for the right price, but i can tell you that at 10psi with the keydiver chip,the car is faster than at 15 psi and no chip.
