Cruise Control doesnt work and no green light

On my 94 tsi the cruz doesnt work. The green dash light wont come on. The little orange dot on the cruz handle thing shows but doesnt go back to black when I hit the brakes. Its not super important or anything but you guys always seem to know all the answers about everything immediately so if you have any suggestions let me know.

The orange light on the cruise handle indicates if the cruise switch is on/off. It will only change if you turn the cruise switch on/off. Hitting the brakes (or anything that would stop the cruise) won't change that. The green dash light comes on if the cruise is actually engaged. If the light comes on and the car won't cruise, then something is wrong. Mine stopped working once and I found that the vacuum lines that go to the actuator (located on driver's side fender between the motor mount and strut tower) where mushroomed at the ends. I simply cut off the bad part and stuck the lines back on. The cruise has worked great since. Hopefully your situation is an easy fix as well.

What if the little orange light won't come either, i've just lost my CC a couple of days ago, it was working perfect, now it's gone... the on/off light doesn't work and neither does the green light. Is there any fuse for the CC? Thanks guys.
