:cry:I have a new 92 gsx eclipse with no mods with 100,000 miles wondering what mods i should do first just to get it a little faster than the normal dsm. boost controller, exhaust, injectors? can anyone give me some suggestions and brands?
thanks

yeah make sure you do all maintaning before you do anything. Unfortunately, i was hard-headed and ran into huge problems! And make sure you use the search option of the site you basically can find anything your little heart can desire through it.:thumb:

Ok so I had a huge post written up but it got erased :(. Anyways tho, I would do all maintenance before you start on any performance mods. Once that is done, try a manual boost controller (Mine is off of ebay and it has worked fine but if you like name brands, try Hallman) next, a boost gauge which any DSMer will recommend because they are extremely important to have when raising your psi (for a good, cheap boost gauge, try prosport.) Next, get a less restrictive exhaust ( I personally like the Apex'i N1 but it does cost a pretty penny.) Next some bigger injectors (don't have a good recommendation for you on this one.) Then a Walbro 190lph or 255lph fuel pump and eventually, after you have all of you supporting mods done, upgrade you turbo. I would also recommend you take a look at the DSM upgrade path articles on the site (go to the tech tab at the top left of the page, then click upgrade paths) There are several "free" mods you can do to get some more power under the "Basic HP Upgrades" link

Stand alone computer like AEM one. GT40r turbo,1050 cc injectors, front mount ic and a full 3 in turboback exhaust. ;) :rocks:

But talking normally, maintenance work to it.Then 3"turboback exhaust, front mount ic,550cc , dsmlink, or AFC,boost controller and the main thing BoostGauge

thanks for quick responses and answer very helpful:thumb:

Do your research. Look at the FAQs here, the VFAQ page, the TECH articles, the staged upgrade guides, ask vendors for advice, do your maintenance, do a boost leak test, and don't vent your BOV to atmosphere.
