crap, sylicone couplers/t-bolt clamps are expensive

Just pricing out what it would cost to switch to all sylicone couplers and tbolt clamps from the turbo to the throttle body. 6 couplers and 12 clamps. Just the clamps are going to be 80 bucks CAD.

yeah those t bolt clamps can get a bit pricy but be honest w/ yourself. they are way better looking and you know youd never have to retighten the clamps. i love the t bolt clamps, for both looks and performance.

Have you checked ebay for deals? Sometimes they'll go for cheap on ebay.

If you need a several couplers, buy silicone hose from McMaster-Carr. It comes in any diameter you need. It's not cheap at $12-$17 but you can cut 3 or 4 connectors from a one foot piece. Where can you get silicone connectors for $3?

I found the clamps for 40 bucks CAD. Found a place online to get the couplers for fairly cheap, but they want 45 bucks to ship the damn things to Canada.

I ordered mine from the states, tbolt clamps & 5 ply silicone couplers, got a great price & they had good service. Shipiing was alot cheeper then $45, don't remember the specifics but if ya want, give me a shout of what all your looking for & the prices u've got, I can dig up the info.

T-bolt clamps also last literally forever. At Summit I think they were about $6 a piece, and I bought 6 so it wasn't too bad. You never have to retighten them. I remember using the standard ones, I'd strip them out tightening them up. Not all of them are that cheap, but it's worth the piece of mind you'll get knowing that your intercooler pipes won't blow off (I've never had them come off with the t-bolts, but I had it happen every couple weeks with the standard ones).

I ought t-bolt clamps at napa for ~ $2.80 each. they probably wont know what a t-bolt clamp is, so ask to see their catalogs

I got mine from hightempsilicon on Ebay, Excellent product & customer service, best prices I could find and have basically any hose you want. Eg. 2.25" silicon coupler with 2 ss t-bolt clamps $11, 10 ss t-bolt clamps $29, 12" 2.25 silicone tube 19.50. Heres the link

Be careful with the sizing of the t-bolt clamps, I wound up ordering 3.25" clamps for my gm maf since the 3" ones I got didnt fit and I had to "persuade" the 2.5" clamps to fit my 2.5" IC pipes (shoulda got 2.75" clamps) to fit.

Hmmm, thats strange, I had no problems with mine. I wonder if you were sent the wrong size? The size they list isn't the actual size of the clamp, they list it for the size of coupling it would fit over. For example a 2.25 coupler is 2.25" id to fit your 2.25 piping but obviously has a larger od, so the 2.25" clamp has an adjustment range of 2.38" to 2.69" to fit over your coupler.

As for the gm maf ya you would have needed the 3.25" since its actually not 3" its slightly larger, 3.18 or something.
