What do you guys think the chances of getting crankwalk on a 97 gst with a 4-puck ACT heavy duty clutch. Do you think I'm gigging myself a grave?

how many miles and what other mods?

it seems to me that the a motor either will or it won't, and generally if it won't, changing the clutch isn't going to make it... I think you should be fine with that, but is it a sprung clutch or unsprung? cause a daily driver with an unsprung 4 puck will have chatter in a daily driven car (I've noticed in my experience that clutches chatter less at higher launch RPMs when they're engaged quickly than at daily driving RPMs)

Well that depends much on your chances. You could be digging it or not digging it.
Not all 2g turbos get walking crank.

The clutch is unsprung and I know it will be a little difficult as a daily driver especially in traffic, I might change it up later. I am rebuilding my tranny as we speak, new ACT clutch and pressure plate(the whole kit), slowboy LSD, resurfacing the flywheel, and new throwout bearing. My performance mods are a lot, I need to update my profile....it was really late........ for right now though, if your interested, check out www.rollincarcustoms.com under the cars> david scruggs 97 GST> more info and there you go, everything is listed.

Is it bad that that's what I'm going with? Honestly, all I know is that it worked out well for my buddy's 1G Gst and he was running 7.90's in the 1/8 mile which was pretty fast.
Do you guys think I made a bad move?
What's so bad about them?(besides this one being unsprung)
