Hey guys. I am in the process of removing the crank from the the block. But I dont know how to get the sprocket on the front (Behind the crank pulley) off? So how do I get it off? Thanks

Pneumatic impact gun. Or a breaker bar on the bolt and ...something... to keep the flywheel from turning, along with two really big arms to turn/hold them both. ;)

sprocket on the front (Behind the crank pulley)

...Wait, youre talking about the timing belt pulley? You'll probably need a gear puller.

Ahhh....Well, I took mine off again once the engine was out...Cant remember how....

I believe I stuck a bar(wraped in a towel) on the side of the crank. Rotated it until they touch, and torque the hell out of that nut. The bar should stop the crank from spinning, and allow you to pop it off.

Just stick something in there, make sure it wont damage the crank, and let er rip.

The sprocket just slides over the end of the crankpully. Isn't pressed or bolted on aside the crank bolt. See if you can pry it off without damaging anything.

I used a puller for it....Actually fabbed up a piece that bolts onto the sprocket so I could fit the teeth of the puller behind it.

Mine did not wanna come off...It was hard even with the puller.
If you need, let me know, and I can try to make up another piece for ya so you could get yours off...
