quick noob question when cranking over a car is the cranking suppose to be continuous untill you let off the key?

mines cranks and hesitates as it seems like it want to fire and keeps doing so, then i read about "cranking fuel cut feature in ECMLink" so i was wond if this way be my prob to no start....

To answer your question. Yes! the cranking is continous until either the engine starts or you let off the key. I am not sure about the 4g63 starter, but some toyota starters stop spinning if there is no resistance against the bendix gear.
I think your real problem is why is the car not starting?
Try the usual. Spark? Fuel? Base timing?
