2G cranking no start. no fuel pressure.

after replacing bent valves and reassembling the engine, i now have a cranking no start. i have spark, good compression, timing good, 0 fuel pressure on my AFPR gauge. i have fuel to the rail but my injectors are not spraying. they do have proper continuity. i replaced the crank sensor, and resistor pack is in spec. please help.

You can activate the pump with link or via the cars own harness check connector. Nothing special required.

I'm not getting fuel pressure either but I think mines is because of a fuel leak I found from between the fuel rail and fuel line. Check there for a leak because I'll need to replace a o-ring possibly.

jump the pump like put power to the pump without the car controlling it. just a 12v wire to the pumps power wire

Mines ended up being a leak. I installed a stock fuel rail and changed the o-ring on the fuel line and it worked just fine.

Ignition on does not fire fuel pump. You must be cranking

if you do not hear your fuel pump when you turn it to the on position then you must test the fuel pump.

Here is how you can do that:

Fuel Pump Operation Check
(1) Set the ignition switch at OFF.
(2) Check that when the battery voltage is directly applied to
the fuel pump check terminal, the operating sound of the
pump can be heard.
NOTE
Since the high pressure fuel pump is installed in the fuel
tank, its operating sound cannot be readily heard. Remove
the fuel tank cap and listen to the operating sound through
the filler port.
(3) Hold the high pressure fuel hose between your fingers and
check that the fuel pressure can be felt.

being a walboro you should hear a "whine" when put in on position. We do that 2 or 3 times on a cold day for e85 to prime the system here in colorado. Walboros are notorious whiners.

If you have a 2nd person you can have them turn the key while you put your ear to the tank. You will hear or feel a slight hum/vibration if your pump works. Hell I can hear my evo 8 pump when I prime.

Last case do as mentioned above and apply a 12 volt power source to your power line on pump. I prefer to use a jump box at the harness by the pump myself so your close to the noise.

The above postsvare confusing. Key on will not fire the pump. You must be cranking (cas is turning).

Another option... pull your return line off afpr and put it in a bucket and see if you squirt fuel

If the turbo models have a fuel pressure regulator...I would check that. I had a similar problem where the pump worked but i was building no pressure. My regulator got stuck open(or closed..whichever is bad haha) and was just dumping 100% of the fuel back into the tank.
