i might pick up this talon, but supposedly it does not run right now becuase the cel throws the crank shaft sensor code out...? how hard is this to replace? and is it hard to do? will it really not run because of that? fill me in. thanks guys:thumb:

If it's the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) P0335 CEL, yes you need it. It's on all 2g 4g63's down on the crankshaft sprocket. To replace, there's some effort but not too bad. You have to remove accessory belts, LF wheel, LF inner splash shield, harmonic balancer (large crank pulley), and lower timing cover. You do not remove the timing belt. Here's a picture. It's the black thing with 2 bolts the crankshaft sprocket sensor blade has just gone through. Just rotate the crankshaft sprocket clockwise until the sensor blade is no longer going through it, unbolt it, unplug the connector, and remove.
