crank question

First of all I searched google and here but to no avail.

I am in the process of building an engine for my GVR4. My question is...

If I go to the junkyard, can I pull the crank out of a 2.0L SOHC 4g63. I know that the DOHC N/T 4g63 have the same cranks as the turbo models. But what about the SOHC 4g63?

I heard a guy telling me he was using a crank out of a mitsubishi mighty max truck with a sohc 4g63. Car put down 500+ whp with it, and the guy is now putting down over 800+ with an eagle crank.

I have no personal expierence with this, but thats what he said.
