Crank pulley specific to year/model?

Does anyone know if the harmonic balancer is specific for your year/model? I contacted www.chryslerpartsdirect.com and they don't know if the model listed here http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169254&highlight=harmonic+balancer "MD377604" is the correct application for my 1999 GSX. Feedback appreciated.

I looked up the part on through the site you provided. The harmonic balancer can be had from the Mitsubishi dealer for a little bit cheaper and it should be the same for all 2G 2.0L Turbo. The reason it can not be 100% matched by them is because they are Chrysler, showing parts for Eagle only. There was no 1999 Eagle Talon so it will not be in their system as the correct application for a 99 Eclipse. That is the correct part number by the way.

the part is the same for any 7 bolt 2.0 turbo. it is not year specific.

The parts the same for any 4g63, 89-99. Just make sure if you have AC you get the one for AC.
That's the right part number.

Thanks for the replies. I called a couple "satans" nearby, and they're quoting me about $148 plus tax for the pulley (don't know if that's the going rate here in CA), so I've ordered it through www.chryslerpartsdirect.com (no tax or shipping!!). Let's see how long it takes to ship here.
