Any part numbers on the Right puller ? My Belt broke A week ago and Bent 2 valves. so its off to u pull it For a new Head. The 2 intake valves on cyl 1 . . ! and i' Have the Pulley off Half way But cannot get it any Further on or Off. But i got a New Belt installed before i found the 2 Bent values

I borrowed a compressor and impact and took it off in 5seconds. This was the first time ive ever been forced to use air. Ive done 2 sr20swaps and a 1jz swap airless. I was putting twice the raw tourque that the impact used but lacked the impact required to remove the pulley. I used the generic 3 jaw puller from advanced. I put a small socket in the pulley to make it work. Dont do this!!!! Use a high grade bolt that is disposable. I mushroomed the socket permenently into the crank. I thank everyone for the assitance

You're ####ed. SHould have used the appropriate 3 jaw 5-ton puller made specifically for chrysler applications. You're probably not ####ed, I'm sure someone else will chime in with a good idea, but my guess is it depends on how broken it is which will determine what it takes to get the pulley off. How about a pic?

what part of the pulley did you break off? if the very middle is not broken off its good, because if you get the satan puller. it grabs the inside of the pulley the very middle where the bolt goes on the other side inner there's 3 indentations for the puller. just get the right puller. nearest auto zone for me was 25min away and i went and got it to save me headaches best thing i done 25min there and back and there and back again for 20 seconds but worth it in my book :thumb: i m sure you will need a new balancer now

yeah it broke where one of the notchs are for the puller. i'll try and get a pic on here.

i need some help. I tried insurting the crank bolt a few threads and using the puller. this only resulted in a mushroomed crank bolt. I then tried the 1/4 inch extension method. I have a misc bunch of crushed sockets and estentions stuck in my crank pulley. Any advise?

I have just removed my pulley. My pulley broke where the jaws from the puller are supposed to go and slipped a little bit off the harmonic balancer. I took a grinder and grinded the center out and the pulley came off then took the puller and pulled the remains off the crank, New pulley was $50.
