cracked manifold. help

i just realized that my exhaust manifold is cracked (real bad like almost a hole kindda thing).
anyways my car is BONE stock, and i really wanted to do my mods in order (intake/exhaust > turbo timer > guages > downpipe > then manifold) , but this has pretty much forced me to do the manifold before anything else.

if i get a SBR manifold will i lose power since my car is stock? i mean it cant be as bad as the hole i have in my manifold right now (turbo doesnt spool, engine bay gets HOT as hell = intake air is also hot as hell). i dont wanna get a stocker, cause i did wanna eventually run something bigger. so would this be a good choice?

btw i will be building head + bottom end, putting a e316g during easter break (well thats the plan)

No.

but this has pretty much forced me to do the manifold before anything else.

You could always get it welded... it's kind of like throwing money away since you'll be upgrading eventually, but it's an option - and it will be much less expensive than buying a new manifold; especially if its only temporary.

Once an iron manifold has gotten to the point of cracking, it's seldom still enough "iron" that it will successfully take a weld.
Replace.

No, you won't lose any hp by using the SBR manifold. In fact, you'll probably gain some. If I was you I'd buy a EVO III manifold. I never heard of any cracking and they flow 20% better than the stock 2g manifolds which means more hp.
