toronto,
hey guys, ive been doin compression tests recently, like 3 in the last month.
anyways, when i first got my jdm, it was 155 across, pretty good i thought, anyways it had gone down to 150, now it seems to be 145-150, my question is how does compression go down like that, in such a short span of time.
2 things to note:
1. i do the tests myself, going WOT from inside the cabin, but my pedal doesnt actually go WOT, will this affect the test?? the pedal goes about 75% on the throttle cable.
2. i noticed tonight, when i did the test the engine was cranking over slower, and less loudly as usual?
im guessing its the battery as it isnt new.
so what i really wanna know is will going true WOT actually help the numbers.?
tia
