He deserved it. That guy put innocent peoples lives at risk, but because he 'surrendered' he thinks the cops should go easy on him? Pfff I don't think so, count your blessings your still alive pal.

We all have the same rights are everybody else..Have you ever been pulled over for bumping the white line or other B.S. just so they can mess with ya becuase you drive a sports car. How are you going to feel when a A-shole cops pulls you over and treats you like a common criminal, when you have done nothing wrong. Not all cops are bad I can agree to that. But one bad cop can give ALL law inforcement officers bad names.

But this guy clearly surrendered and was accepting his punishment by doing so. He was going to jail and he knew it. And then seconds later.. PIG came running up and kicked him in the face. Now all of you can say what you want but you don't know the criminals story either. Maybe he made a harsh judgment just like the PIG by doing what he did but does that excuse it? Can I consume any substance into my body that I wish? NO. Do I have the freedom of expression? NO. It's the point of the government running our lives. Laugh now but when you have to get a chip put in your ass unwillingly you may have a different outlook on the good ole' USA.

This statement is an example of what is wrong with OUR society today. One person Is not a perfect example of all cops just like Charlie Manson isnt the perfect example of white people, or OSAMA an example of all middle eastern people. There are bad apples in all walks of life white, black, green orange. Racer this comment isnt directed at you, but at the attitude of this one part of your post that too many people in this world share. ONE SINGLE person is not going to be the perfect example for a group. That is an individual who stepped away from what the group is SUPPOSED to stand for for whatever reason. the famous saying, He who lies down with dogs get up with fleas and you are known for who you hang out with(cops own words). I can say it agian NOT ALL COPS are BAD but some make the wrong decisions. But we as people we get in trouble for making bad decison why shouldn't he? Just becuase he is a cop doesn't mean he should get away with it. The law applies to ALL(black,white, purple or whatever color).

When I came into this thread I was expecting to see a cop drop kick some criminal down and arrest him. That would have been Bad-A. But, what I ended up seeing was grade-A police brutality. The guy ran, sure. But the cop didnt have to walk up and kick him in the face. His job is to apprehend the criminal, not punish him.

Hmmm, well lemme think, every time I got pulled over it's because I DID do something wrong not because of what I was driving, and I can't say that I was ever treated like a common criminal either. I don't think I have to worry about being kicked in the head because I have a tail light out, but if I were running from the cops, weeving in and out of traffic, going double the speed limit and nearly missing innocent victims then maybe I deserve a good swift kick in the head.

The cop who kicked him did one smart thing, he waited till his other buddy's came along to actually cuff him. The toe tap to the skull was retribution for running. Any strike to the skull is pretty much a no-no unless your life is on the line, though like I said it was pretty much a bi*** slap more than anything else.

I've seen video of a cop going one on one with a suspect in a fist fight, and that cop showed more maturity and class AFTER he subdued the guy. I actually couldn't believe it, but after a knock down drag out fist fight that I can honestly claim was a fight for the cops life, with the suspect attempting to go after the cops gun, he calmly cuffed the guy and called for backup, didn't do anything to him afterwards on camera. Police gain respect with that kind of thing, not by cheap shots to a surrendering suspect.

Dude are you a PIG? I can't believe how many people on here want to see brutality. Do you understand that this is a communist way of thinking? Nobody reserves the right to kick me in the head. That's for damn sure. I don't care what their stature is. You guys need to open a history book and get some knowledge. This is how it all begins. We've seen a lot of brutality and now we just shrug it off because it's not happening to us so #### it who cares. And when the government understands that the people want to see harsher punishment they increase laws and become hard asses. So go ahead vote for it and see what you think 10 years from now. How do you compare this to a soldier in Iraq? It makes no sense, I can see a soldier doing what he had to do but there was no shootout here and the guy surrendered clearly showing both hands. This cop went through basic shit that can't even be compared to shit that the armed forces go through over in those shithole countries. He went to police academy for a reason, and his judgment here was clearly off; shit it was WAY OFF.

This could happen to anybody, you get pulled over becuase they think your car is stolen and has evaded other cops(same make and model) and you are laying on the ground with hands out and he kicks you in the face or balls. How would you feel ? Some cop trying to look good and impress the others. How quick will your opinions change?

I would like to see exactly how many times this has happened in history..I would think it's only happened enough to count on one hand.

Look, I'm in the military, I have to take the Law of Armed Conflict refresher all the time to hear about use-of-force. I know what the cop did, from a legal-standpoint, was wrong. All I'm saying is..don't run from the cops. How hard is that?? Stop breaking the law. Don't shoot anybody..don't stab anybody (In cold blood; If it's in self-defense, then by all means, stab away). Nobody, eh? You're either somebody who's been in trouble with the law a few times..or you've never had bad things happen to somebody you care about. We do not just shrug it off...you hear about it alllllllllllllll the timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, about people suing police departments for excessive force & winning. I have no idea what you're talking about when you say we just 'shrug it off'. Problem though, is a lot of these cases are just plain retarded, with the criminal obviously knowing they can use that little technicality to win money. Remember that hippy college kid who was tazered in his library a year or two ago? I'm sure he got tons of money out of that...the little turd deserved it though. The cops asked him to leave...he would not. He started making a huge scene..who knows why, maybe cause he heard one too many 'fight the man' speeches, or he's one of those people who protests anything & everything they can. Same for the infamous 'don't taze me bro!' guy, in that hall that Kerry was speaking in. He deserved it. Do you see a connection here?? None of these guys obviously has any respect for the law. The college kids who got tazed were probably spoonfed everything growing up, with mommy & daddy paying for college, & they're used to getting what they want, so they got mad when the cops asked them to leave.

At no point in any of my posts I defended the criminal. I simply expressed my disgust for the PIG in the video. If you guys want to defend this POS of a cop then that's fine, everybody has their opinion whether it shows horrible judgment just like this PIG displayed.
