cooling fan help (slim line)

I am looking to install my Koyo so I need to find some space.

Is it possible to use the a/c fan (drivers side) in place of the cooling fan? since its much thinner.

Then I was thinking of buying this for my a/c fan

Its 2.5" thick so it is not as thin as a real slim line but would it still work? With the koyo installed and stock fans I have about 1/4" clearance from my turbo.

I was looking at the same fans actually(www.siliconeintakes.com)
They seem pretty cheap... not sure how 1250 cfm compares to other slim fans.

mount the fan on the other side of the rad and get rid of the a/c
it helps alot with cooling to x the a/c

I guess I will give it a try and tell you how it works. I have heard the stock fans flow around 1200-1400cfm.

I really need to keep my a/c my car is dd and its mid 90's all summer.

i have seen ones on ebay with ball bearing motors, 2400 cfm and 16'' slim line for only 37.00. so you may want to look there

follow-up

Fans made my house in about 4 days. Not the best packaging ive seen but the product was fine inside.

Installed and works great, my a/c is still nice and cold and it has plenty of room in front of the exhaust mani.
