I sent my s16g in to be rebuilt. It came back as an E316g. I am putting the hard coolant line that goes to the thermostat area back on. I bought 2 new crush washers and I am in the process of tightening the old bolts. Is there anything that goes in there besides the banjo bolt, crush washers, and coolant hard line? It feels like I have to tighten the bolts down with a breaker bar to get anywhere near close to making up the slack. I don't want to break the bolts.

Thoughts?

Any pics?.

Are you sure you are using the right bolt.
Sounds like its the wrong bolt trying to get in there.

It is the right bolt...wish I took pics. I was able to get it in there but really had to torque the bolt down. Nothing broke so I guess all is well. I figured that it would go in easier.

Thanks

Was this turbo installed on your car before, and are you using the same banjo bolts? I can't imagine that someone would use a different center section, but it is possible that a different center was used.

I believe it is the same center. Certain parts of the turbo were swapped out but I can't say for sure.
