Coolant Hose Leak Make Car Die?

So i've been trying to find out why my car is randomly dying coming to a stop or taking it out of gear while coasting. This morning it died while it was idling (fully warmed up), and i started it and revved it. The car would keep dying after every rev. I popped the hood, and heard a hissing sound. The top radiator hose was sliced like freddy got to it. I cut the bad part off and topped coolant off, since then it hasn't died??? Someone fill me in on if this could have been the problem all along?? Car runs amazing otherwise.

Sounds like an leak in your intake or charge piping remove it and inspect is carefully.

Have you run a blt or checked for a vacuum leak? What is your vacuum pressure sitting at???

Vacuum sits at 22hg. I'm sure i fixed it. Those hose off the intake manifold to the fps had a hole big enough to see through it. swapped it out, idling and running really smooth. I hope that was it.

Still stalls. just not as much. god this is driving me insane!!

Timing is dead on, no logger, car runs perfect while it is running. and than just stubles and dies.
