Every week or so I have to refill my coolant cause it gets empty. My overflow cap is somehow getting loosened so it is turned like 1/4 turn loose. My overflow bottle is always full, but the upper pipe gets emptied every so often. Any ideas on what it could be. there are no leaks or white smoke in exhaust.

Also, my alt belt is screwed up. I noticed the other day when i looked and saw my belt was worn down 2 notches, my water pump pulley is out about 1/8 in farhter than the other 2 pulleys. it made my belt crooked and now its killing belts, i dont know why its out that far, any ideas? its a brand new water pump. I was going to just eliminate the ps belt and pulley but i want ps, at least till i have money to get a manual rack. any ideas on that?

Bearing's gone out on water pump it appears from your description. Both my RX7 and Talon went like that. You "should" be seeing coolant dripping from around the front cover area. Just because a component is new doesn't automatically exclude it from being bad, it's simply the "probability" of it being bad is less...

I had the same problem. gunk in the hose was acting like a one way valve.

cleaned it out and it worked fine ( was my fault, I had put radieator treatment in and the solids collected at the bottom of the overflow tank)
