After I drive my car for a few minutes and park it, the thermostat housing is smoking along with the rest of the engine(the other smoke may be related to the newly painted downpipe). When I remove the cap on the housing there is no coolant in there and the coolant is boiling past the thermostat. Coolant is not overflowing out of the bottle and there does not appear to be any bubbles in it while the car runs at idle. I have an underdrive pulley on, which may not be spinning the water pump fast enough. Other than that I do not know why coolant does not stay in the upper part of the housing.
