I bought my car with an old VPC setup on it with the temp sensor tapped into the intake manifold and a MAP sensor (Denso 949940-6110) that gets it's source from the P-port on the throttle body. The P-port has a T on it and is a source for the boost gauge, MAP, and the emissions junk.

I just bought DSMLink in the classifieds and I have a few questions:

Is the VPC MAP compatible with DSMLink or will I need to buy a GM MAP? I saw some threads that said it will work but I don't see it specifically listed on Link's site. I don't plan to run over 20psi so the pressure limitations of the VPC MAP shouldn't hurt.

If I need to get a GM MAP is there a good way to attach it to a 1g intake manifold without pulling the manifold and drilling a new port? If the VPC MAP is compatible could I switch it over to a dedicated vacuum line coming off the TB or does it really need to come straight from the manifold?

Can the VPC temp sensor be used as an IAT or is it completely useless for Link?
