Convertable Top Maintenance

I own a 98 spyder and was curious if there was any specific top maintenance that was recommended? Ive seen online that some say to used canvas water replant and others say to just use a special conditioner when cleaning it but i found almost nothing on here as far as cleaning or maintenance. Was just curious if there something i should be doing to keep it in good shape especially since it is parked outside. Thank you

I dont do anything to mine, when i wash my car i just spray some water on it and sometimes if im feeling nice ill vacuum it. Nothing special and if its going to rain ill spray some water proofing spray around the corners where it leaks.
