ok i have a 98 eclipse spyder and the back glass for the top is ripped so it is making a hole in my convertable top i need a short term fix and a long term fix to the problem o yea i stay in atl so if u no shops let me no asap

I would use a silicone base adhesive and put a bead around the window and push it against the top so it would stick together just a temp fix
 
remove the glass, weather tape and plastic bags for now.

or if you dont think the weather tape is strong enough they do make 100mph tape.
 
You could stitch it up all the way around. Thats what I did when this happened to mine. 40lb test if you wanted to know. Its been holding for 6 months now.
 
I used GOOP adhesive on mine its been holding for about 9months I need to pit some more on the lower corners they have started to come loose. I also am planning to buy a new top next year.
