Ok well i just got done doing a compression test on my 2g. I forgot to go WOT durring the test. I read that if you dont go WOT it will just give you a lower reading. My numbers with out going WOT were 150 in every cylinder. Can i assume that my compression is still good or should i test again at WOT? I just rolled 70k last week on stock motor.

it sounds like you are in good shape. i believe the service limit is 133 psi. 150 across the board sounds good to me:thumb:

It helps to test it while the car's at operating temps too. My readings go from 160 to 173 between cold and warmed up.

Thanks guys. Maybe someday when i have nothing else to fix on it and am bored i will do it again with WOT. Then again it is a dsm so that day will probably never come. So to my car i say thank you for keeping me busy. And to dsmtuners thank you for the knowledge so i can fix it.
