Complete rebuild, car will not idle

Alright, so i finally finished putting the car back together and now i can't get it to idle right. I have been messing around with dsmlink for a couple of days and nothing i seem to do helps it. Basically what the car does is starts up for a couple of seconds (very rough only 5 in of vac) goes pig rich and just dies. The car is just dumping fuel. I thought it was the maf, so i put a new one in and same thing. I Checked for boost leaks, and all other obvious odds and ends (fuel pressure, global fuel and dead time, vac leaks, bad connections). Any ideas? all mods are updated in the profile.

it seems kind of stupid but make sure the intake sensor in v3 matches what you are using. also sounds like the o2 sensor hooked up to your ecu could be bad.

If you post a log of it trying to idle, I'll try to look at it this afternoon and give some insight. Make sure you log airflow, TPS, coolant temp, baro, wideband, and all the important things.

Lots of fuel kills spark plugs pretty quickly, even new ones. Also and exhaust leak can cause your o2 to read lean.

Yeah i changed the plugs twice already. I think i killed the front o2 as well. Here is a log.

Yep shes dead.
Try warming it up as much as you can and log that. The log shows your in openloop as well,

Try setting your TPS to .63V at closed throttle. I know it's not much, but you may as well make sure everything's perfect first, then see if there's still a problem. I see your MAF compensation is set really low from 50-1000 Hz, are you sure it isn't just really lean? Maybe your O2 sensor really is accurate.

If you have a wideband, you should start logging it.

I know for a fact its running rich. You can smell it, black smoke out the exhaust, and it was in the oil. I'll try what you said tomorrow and I'll update on where I'm at and post another log.

I just noticed I'm throwing a DTC-0340 camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction (i cleared the code and it came back, just to make sure it wasn't just playing games and throwing the code at random). Could this be the major source of my problem?

Well just for the sake of helping someone out who has this sort of problem and point them in the right direction, I will tell you some of the problems i found. Basically from doing some trial and error i resolved my issue. In dealing with cars thats what it will always come down too. Using this site and asking questions will only give you a general reference point on where to look. Anyways i changed the cam position sensor and that sorted out my rough idle and crazy fuel trims. The car would still die right away. I went over everything and then started messing around with the gm maf. Basically after two different gm mafs and hours of headaches trying to get the thing in tune, the car just would not idle. So I took the gm maf off, put the 2g maf back on and it ran like a champ. I don't know what was wrong with the gm maf (several others looked at it who have gm mafs and were at a loss) but i could care less now. Its obviously not the best way to go, at least in my case. 2g maf FTW!
