Compensating for bigger injectors w/ GM Maf

Hi,

If I'm running a GM Maf, the translator, and have an AEM Wideband, could I put 650cc injectors in along with a walbro 190 to safely increase my boost from 15 to 18-19 without a tuning program and a new tune? Supposedly the GM Translator can compensate for bigger injectors...

I'm kind of on a budget, and I know the SAFC isn't really that great so I'd rather get dsmlink but then $$ starts becoming a big issue. If it isn't advised to do what I mentioned above I don't have any problem sticking with what I have for now, I'm just curious as I know it's a whole new ball game when changing your fuel system.

If your tight on money just get some 550cc's, I wouldn't really go above 15psi you can only fool the stock ecu so much. Withouth logger you can't tell if it's really safe or not. Just toss is the walbro 255lph there the same price as the 190 and can supply more fuel.

^ 1+ stick to low boost or below 15 and save up your money to get DSMlink

It will compensate to a certain limit. You have to adjust to what injectors are in the car. If you go online and look up the guide for the Maf. You will fine whatever setting needs to be input to compensate for the different Injectors. Also, I would HIGHLY advise do not turn the boost up with out a way to monitor what the motors doing(palm pilot, dsmlink, safc).

Alright. Thanks for the input. Ill stick to what boost I'm running now until I can get dsmlink
