I am just about settled on Comps. and would like definitive info like do they drop in close without degreeing? How is the idle? Power? Have you ran another cam and can give a comparison? this is for a daily driver. Thanks I need your input. Mark

I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of threads on the comps -vs- fp's and that would include all of the information you are looking for..The comp 101100's and 101200's are both very streetable,no degreeing and the power from the 101100's are comparible to the 264's with a slight edge over them in power and the same goes with the 101200's being compared to the 272's with a slight edge over them in power as well..I would go with some comps..No backorder,No major price tag and No takng prisoners, err, looking back..Just make sure you buy the cams you will want to use in the long run the first time around..If you are running a smaller turbo right now and decide to plan on upgrading down the road alittle later I would just go with the 101200's right now..Good luck.. :dsm:

i have the 1011400's! but i havent started the car yet.

should be AMAZING though.

i have heard around 45 more whp on a stock block, head on a 20g car. with only 4 psi over stock boost. of course supporting mods.

i have the 101200 on my 1g they work really well with a stage one head and headers and manifold work really well in high rpms i would say go for what ever u want but comp seems to me to a good buy :talon:

Consider smogging your car too. I live in CA and I went with the 100 equivalents, FP1 cams. Not sure about NY smog issues but you should probably consider it mainly because the laws will most likely stiffen up in the future.

Car only has the EGR because I put it back on. No other emissions, no cat. I run 112 octane leaded with each tank also. Cam wll not be a problem. We will not have gas available before enissions are a concern. I keepthe car welltuned to do my part for clean air.

Go with the comp 200s . I have the 100s on a built motor with B16g running 15psi and It has awsome torque, and boost comes on faster than stock. The 100s pull to about 6900 and level off. If I were to do it again I would go with the 200s because I will soon be out growing the ones I have but they are great on a 16g motor.

Speaking of which, I just got my 101200 's in the mail today :) I'll be posting vids and dyno differences on my old V-trim thread. Gonna head back to the dyno a third and last time after I get cam gears to show gains/losses. Go for the 200's and don't look back :)

Im building a 4g64/4g63, 8.3:1, and want to rev to 8k. 200's or 300's?
