coming to a stop car dies

When i come to a stop the car dies, or when i throw the cluth for a gear the rpms drop real fast and it dies, its only doing this about 80% of the time. Also on a hot start the car idles down real fast and dies, but if i rev it up a few times it comes down to a perfect idle. Im pretty sure its still on the stock duel filter at 72k could that maybe be it? the bov is recerted.


Any advice please.

Hey, do you know if your venting your BOV to the atmosphere because those are things that occured when i started to vent to the atmosphere.

he said his bov is recirculated....i had a similar problem to this when i first got my car found out i barely had any oil in the car and my spark plugs and wire was bad.

sounds more like a boost leak to me, id presure test the car as my next step. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html also it wouldnt hurt to change the fuel filter with that kind of milage.

maybe also make sure your mas is plugged in. Don't know how it would have disconnected but its worth a check.

this may sound too obvious...but did u play with the BISS screw at all? When i adjusted mine to the factory limit 850rpms...everytime the car would stall coming to a stop or changing gears...i raised it too 950 rpms and it runs fine.

ya i didint get time to change the fuel filter, but i got new plugs, new oil and played with the biss screw and it seems to be runing ok now....... i will find out on my way to work i guess. i will get the fuel filter here soon, i also cleaned the injectors and a can of octane booster. The funny thing is i think it might be bad gas i put some cheap ass gas staion gas in it yesterday and it started doing this so.
