Ok just an FYI. I have a 91 talon fwd. With around 350 to the wheels. And I have traction issues at a 60 mph roll on the interstate. I won't even start talking about from a stop.... I have the shep stage two tranny. Buttt I do love the car man. Definitely a lot of time and money involved. Welcome to the forums!!!

I got to agree with everyone else, find an old rusty GSX donor and make this mad boy AWD.

800hp FWD but good luck driving it unless it's a track car because even slicks you would be spinning. Even more so with no weight on the tires BECAUSE of the massive weight loss you did.

Just have to come out of the gate slow so the vehicle's weight can catch up and then match the speed, then you can build up speed afterwards - to prevent busted up axles...

But, DSM's are definitely good for hobby and to show off....
