cold start problem

my girlfriend had the same problem on her dsm...the ecu was going out on it and after we replaced it all the problems that you were having quit. Like she wouldnt be able to start the car sometimes but when it started she had to sit there with her foot on the gas until the car warmed up so it could go places without dieing out. so maybe this is your problem??

What year was your gf's car? ECU failure is more common on 95 and early 96 models, but not so much on the mid 96+. Not that it can't happen, though.

she has a 95 4G64
